THE BEST GAME FOR THE XBOX 360. AMAZING GAMEPLAY. SMOOTH GAMEPLAY AND THE MULTIPLAYER WILL KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED FOR YEARS. IT IS FOR THE PS3 XBOX 360, POSIIBLE FOR THE WII, BUT IM NOT SURE. GET THIS GAME.

The multiplayer on this game is as bad as everyone says. I have a fast connection, that doesn't lag on other games, but the TERRIBLE matchmaking system this gimped game runs gives me pings consistently over 100.
High pings are the death of multiplayer. I won't be bothering to load it up again.

I won't take much time here. Basically, if you haven't tried this game, give it a shot. I'm not adept at first person shooters but found the controls really intuitive, which made playing the game more fun. I ended up beating this on Regular, Hardened, and Veteran, which is probably the most time I've spent playing a game since Super Mario Bros. 2 way back when. Still, the storyline is short, so I think that kept me from getting too bored. There are some really fun sequences and a couple of duds (the controversial airport sequence is kind of boring aside, even with the terrorism aspect to it).
Additionally, the multiplayer is addictive. I think it may have peaked as it seems there's tons of camping, but there are so many different types of matches that you probably will find something to make that Xbox Live membership worthwhile.

There are no redeeming qualities about this game. The multiplayer and all those that "love it" are nothing but cheaters or noobs. This game is way to noob friendly it takes no skill to play this game. Oh jee danger close, sleight of hand, steady aiming, noob tube, and thumper. That is soo0o0o hard to just shoot off randomly and get ridiculous amounts of kills, and lets give people who do nothing but camp or kill glitch the ability to end the game no matter the score!!!!! This game is herendously bad i suggest you stay far away from it and play an actually good game like civilazation IV.

I hadn't played the modern warfare titles before I played this one, and this one got me hooked! I love the action and story in the campaign mode, plus the multiplayer component is great too!
