Awesome new version of the sims July 21, 2010 alexandra If you like simulation games, then The Sims 3 is perfect for you! It will keep you entertained (probably longer than you intended to be) much longer than the original sims, although I haven't played the Sims 2 so I can't really compare it to that. However, I can say that a few things I love about this game are: the Create a Sim screen, where virutally anything (within reason) is possible in terms of physical appearance; quirky little traits that Sims can possess ranging from kleptomaniac to flirtatious to never nude (an Arrested Development reference). Even without an expansion pack, this game is complex and entertaining enough to keep you working at it. Instead of monotonous living, the Sims 3 game's "objective" (one of many possible objectives that you can choose to work toward) includes choosing a lifetime goal, which is often based on the personality traits that you choose for your Sim. Other ways of keeping your Sims happy include fulfilling their daily wishes, which can range from simply cleaning the dishes if they are neat, to becoming best friends with someone they met and hit it off with. Aging is also another option that is included in the Sims 3, which i know is also available in the Sims 2, but if you want to keep your Sims young, then it is possible to turn it off under Game Options. Children are absolutely fun to play with, as well. There are more available options, as well as outcomes, when it comes to "raising" the children. There are three stages: baby, toddler, and child. During the baby and toddler stages, it is important to keep them well fed and teach them necessary skills, or when they "age up", undesirable consquences in personality may result.
Horrible, Awful, Sucky!!!! July 20, 2010 yellowzinnias I am in tears right now. I waited SO long for this game and it SUCKS. I started a new game. I edited the neighborhood and built a house that would be affordable for a new family. I made a family I really liked. I had them purchase the house. The game stayed in the neighborhood. I clicked on the house again. The only options were "evict this family" "merge this family" and something else that wasn't play. I tried EVERYTHING. I closed the game and reopened. I opened the same game and tried to click on the house. No matter what I do, it will not let me play this family I took SO much care in creating in the house that took a long time to build. Apparently, you HAVE to play one of the pre-made houses. What is the point in even letting us make characters if we can't use them?! I HATE this game!!!!!!! This is one of the biggest disappointments EVER!!!!
FUN for HOURES!! July 17, 2010 GRACE This is possibly the best computer game ever. I love it so very much. I play it daily. It is super fun to play with friends. The only downside to this game is that you may become addicted to it!
My wifes opinion July 7, 2010 levone She loves the game. Its almost a different game from The Sims 2. With the World Adventure expansion pack(or something like that..) you can do much more then just simulate lives.
sims 3 July 6, 2010 Ashlie Diego I like the new version, havent had a lot of time to play but they made it so much easier to go to different places. so much better decoration and building options.
