| Customer Reviews: Review by my son Morgann- 8 yrs old March 17, 2010 Morgann J (Singapore) I like this game because the graphics are cool, there are all sorts of enemies coming and you have to really focus when you are fighting a boss. The heros have different gun weapons like flame thrower or a an electronic laser beam. I like the way you can change into different characters. That gives more variety to the game. You need to change characters at the right time so strategy is important. The bosses are difficult because they have different elements. Kids ages 6-16 will enjoy this game. Its a game that you can master but also you can enjoy it for a long time.
Better Bionicle November 15, 2008 J. Peterson (minnesota) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is one of the better Bionicle games out there. We have bought a few for our son, Bionicle fan, and this one he can actually play and get through some of the levels.
Surpisingly Good First Person Shooter For the DS December 21, 2006 Brian Mohler 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
If you're a fan of LEGO Bionicle and great games for the DS, you'll love this one. The storyline of the game is this: The Paraka have stolen the Toa's masks and it's up to you to retrieve them. There's 37 fairly big levels for you to play through, and 7 different weapons for you to use on your quest. The graphics look great for the DS, and the angular look of LEGO Bionicle characters transfer on to the DS really well. It includes enemies from all "eras" of the Bionicle timeline, and as a LEGO fan, I personally had a lot of fun seeing the Bionicle figures that I have the LEGO sets for come to life on the screen. The enemy AI is surprisingly complex for a DS FPS,they'll dodge your attacks, hide behind walls, and they'll come at you almost non-stop. But thankfully you can hide behind a wall and your ammo and health will be recharged automatically. The controls are pretty easy to learn right off the bat, and there's plenty of unlockables, so you'll want to re-play all of the levels once you obtain all of the Toa's powers. If you're looking for a well-made FPS, and you're a fan of LEGOs, I highly recommend you give this one a try.
