A fun rhythm challenge July 29, 2010 Sunny324 (Grand Rapids, MI USA) After playing Rhythm Heaven, I wanted to find another game like it for my DS. Elite Beat Agents fits the bill. Playing is fun and addictive, and you won't want to stop until you pass each level (which can be surprisingly challenging).
The only thing I didn't like about it were the cut scenes. I'd rather just keep playing through the whole song.
Elite Beat Agents=Secret Gold July 12, 2010 Mirage Kothari (Los Angeles, CA) Person i bought it from gave me a crappy box, no instruction booklet..was a used box from GAmestop. Game is fun tho, great music and everyone who listens to the song wants to try and join along. Game is kinda hard, but fun.
Agents are... GO!!! July 6, 2010 Insert Pen Name Here 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Elite Beat Agents is the most looked-over hit DS game! This game, which I got for about $10, is awesome! Elite Beat Agent's target tapping, rhythm gameplay is very addicting and challenging. Before I wrote this review, I looked at the 2 star reviews, and I actually sort-of agree with them. This game is a great value for what it is, but Ouendan 2 (Japanese EBA) is much better. So, if you are a Ouendan player, I encourage you to be open-minded while playing. Overall, this is a great value!
Fun but short March 12, 2010 Ren I bought this game after years of hearing about it. It is one of the most fun games I have ever played if not the funniest. The songs were great and the rhythm were challenging. I also love how the storyline changed according to how well you were doing. The replay feature is also great to review the storyline since you're too busy playing to notice the top screen and also for performance analysis and critique.
What I didn't like was that the game was a little too short for my taste. I expected more for my money's worth. Also the Auto-Save feature was annoying as you don't have the chance to redo levels short of wiping the entire game memory and due to the Auto-save the lack of slot/multiple game options.
Fantastic Fun - an Addictive Must to a DS-Collection February 11, 2010 This Kayla (Bermuda) I've had my Nintendo DS for several years now, and this still remains one of my favourite games. I beat this game a long time ago, but I still enjoy picking it up and playing a level again, which is a rarity for me!
The premise for this game is pretty simple - you control a secret agent team who uses the powers of ~DANCE~ to help people through their problems. Each level opens with a dynamic comic book explaining someone's problems, and horrified, they yell what ever EBA fan know: "HELLLLP!" After the call, well, it's time to dance their cares away to classic, family-friendly dance songs.
What made this game special for me was that everyone who played it on my DS went out to buy it, and I say that with no exaggeration. By the end of a college term, nine of my friends had gone out and bought the game for themselves - it's a classic, successful formula guaranteed to appeal to everyone. Even if your usual video game preference is for first-hand shooters or role playing games, you are going to love this. Be prepared for people standing over your shoulders to stare at the fun comics that are going out, and the familiar songs pumping through those little Nintendo DS speakers.
It surprisingly stays challenging (when you unlock the cheerleaders, you want to cry) - and isn't all that repetitive.
I actually have to buy a new copy because I've lent and used mine so much, and I feel no irritation at buying another copy of this great game!
